On30 Coaling Platform/dock/stage

A small coaling platform /fuelling stage for your On30 locos with a "backwoods" flavour. 

I use mine for a mix of coal and wood stored under the covered part.

Loading is by shovel! Shovel onto the dock from an adjacent gondola, shovel into a loco tender. Labour is cheap, shovels are cheaper :)

On my roundhouse module the rear is highly visible so I have paid attention to the kit's design from all aspects. It has diagonal bracing behind the walls and well as all underframe.

Model features :-

Footprint is 8" x 2.5"   Can be built left or right handed.

Coal deck is level with an On30 Climax footplate. (using Peco or ME track)

includes 1 sets of steps for one end, and a ladder at the other.

The deck underframe slots together and hold the basswood posts in place, with 2 height jigs to aid construction

Laser cut premium micro-ply decking, and walls engraved both sides.  Micro-ply roof.

Instructions are in pdf form only and emailed at time of shipment - no printed ones in the kit. This way I can add very many photos into the instructions!. Ink is an evil price, paper is heavy for shipping, but electrons are free :)
