Your legal and statutory rights are unaffected by what I may, or may not say, in this section. Here are a few practical things we can agree on as the basis of us doing business together.
- I reserve the right not to take an order, and reserve the right to cancel an order before shipping. I am just a one man band and all sorts of eventualities can occur.
- You can cancel your order at any time up to the time of shipping. Life happens – that’s OK.
- The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in the website. All of our prices are stated in UK Pounds (£) Sterling and you will be billed in this currency. PayPal will then convert it at the exchange rate they use on the day. if its too much for you, just don’t pay it.
- Once I have made your kit(s) and sent you a PayPal invoice I will only hold your order for 30 days unless we have made a prior agreement. If the invoice is not paid within 30 days, I will cancel the invoice and the order. The kit(s) will be free to be sold to someone else.
- Once payment is received I will ship within 5 days unless we agree a different arrangement (eg you are going away etc)
- I will always use a tracked service, with prepaid customs if that option is available. this is fastest and least risk for me and you, For some countries that is the only way.
- Once shipped – PayPal policy rules kick in with both Buyer Protection and Seller Protection, with PayPal dispute resolution if required.
- On receiving the product, If you change your mind you can return it within 30 days, and I will refund if it is intact. At my discretion I will allow this to be longer but the cost of shipping will be yours. Your statutory rights are only 14 days. (Uk and EU)
- If you run into difficulty when making the kit, I will endeavour to help, but ultimately these are wooden kits and assembly relies on a reasonable skill level and following the instructions. They also need to be stored and used in a reasonable way.
- These products are for use indoors. That might be obvious but a Californian living by the desert kept his turntable under an awning outdoors, it didn’t go well. Outdoor use is at your own risk.
- These products are for adults. Persons 18 or over. They are sold on the understanding that both the purchaser, and the end user is 18 or over.

Your data security
This site doesn’t ask for or keep records of your details. There is no customer login and there is no customer database. You cant leave comments . Your involvement with the site is only the contact submission box , and all that does is send the text you write in it to my email inbox. Just as if you were emailing me. It stores nothing – its just a conduit.
Orders use PayPal as the tracking mechanism – and all the security and legal compliance for that is with PayPal.
PayPal is the secure system for all the money transfer. I have no visibility of any customer financial details – which is also why I don’t take payments over the phone.
I only keep an order ID for as long as I need to for the manufacture of active orders. Transaction history, shipping and tracking detail are kept within the PayPal data framework, and that is the basis of the needed legal compliance for refunds and your data security.
